CEF Give for Grants campaign

10/19/2019 7:34 am

The Give for Grants Program is designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward effective, innovative, and creative, instructional approaches that directly impact students while transforming classroom learning.

This year, YOU can go to www.Give4GrantsCISD.org and view all classroom grants submitted by Coppell ISD educators. YOU can see who submitted a grant request, what they want to fund and at which campus. And then YOU can select which grant YOU want to fund!

Choose a school, select a grant, donate and make an impact today!

Below are specific grants for Pinkerton (click here to give online):

"5th Grade iFLIES!"

We would like to take our 5th grade learners to iFly to participate in one of their STEM science lessons. On the field trip the learners will have an opportunity to have hands-on exploration opportunities with various science concepts and will learn more about pursuing a career in the STEM field from very knowledgeable learning guides. They will also all be able to participate in an individual 2 minute “flight” in a wind tunnel.

"Where the Bookstore Comes to You"

4th grade teachers are needing a rolling cart to hold all of our fabulous new literacy book club sets for our grade level that were purchased for us this year. We want to keep them in a central location for easy accessibility.

"Check, check 1, 2, 3 - Podcasting for language learning"

We are requesting 5 PC Microphones, 5 Apple Lightning Adapters, and 2 Aokeo Professional Studio Recording Microphone Isolation Shield to be able to record high-quality publishable podcasts to be shared with our educational, local, and global communities. Educators of all grade levels will have access to the portable recording studios as they wish to develop content, address topics of need, etc. in their lesson design and implementation
